A question for those of you using video glasses. I wear prescription glasses. Will I be able to use video glasses while wearing them? Not being able to focus on anything close without bifocals, I don't see how I will be able to use anything that is as close to my eyes as the lcd displays in these units.

I don't know what kind of fancy optical stuff they have, but I use prescription glasses over mine too. Pilots use contacts with them. Mine fit right over my glasses just fine and if I take my glasses off, the vision is a little blurry. I'm near sighted and see things up close just fine with my glasses off.

Most video glasses are made to focus for distance, usually 1M to infinity.
The bifocals aren't necessarily a problem. Not all video glasses fit well over glasses. The Fat Sharks have a very short eye relief that makes them hard to use with glasses. The "920" style video glasses like the ones from Range Video work well over glasses if your glasses frame isn't too large. http://www.rangevideo.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13&products_id=23&zenid=3185a5bd18a7d3a16688fdc4b31d9e5d
The other problem is the pupillary distance is fixed on alot of the video glasses. If you can post your glasses RX I can give you a better idea of what your options are.
