How to find out KV rating for Brushless motor for...

...Model Boat? I have a Feigao 540 XL Sized Brushless Motor but it
doesn't have any markings to say what KV rating it is. I want to use
it in a Model Boat using 4S or 6S Lipo batteries.

Sorry, that doesn't help find out what the rating is for my motor.

Actually, it does. The 540 XL comes in a number of versions, each with a
different number of turns. The table at this web site shows all available
models of the 540 XL motor and gives the Kv rating of each. If you have a
540 XL-14 XL (14 turn) motor, it has a Kv rating of 1191. If you have a 540
XL-6 XL (6 turn) motor, it has a Kv rating of 27. Hope this helps.

But my motor does not have any markings on it at all. The guy I bought
it off said it was a 540 XL but didn't know which one.
