I want to glue a few Derlin plastic parts together. What type of glue would you recomend?

You can't glue Delrin. I would first try to fasten the parts together with screws, etc. And if that is not possible, then sand the mating surfaces with coarse sandsandpaper and use 24 hr epoxy. (NOT 5 min epoxy, 24 hour epoxy)

Without knowing what you're using the plastic for, it's hard to tell.

Most plastics have a specific solvent type glue that works for that type of plastic: ie ABS solvent for ABS plastic, styrene solvent for styrene, acrylic solvent for acrylic plastic.

Try this link:

If you're machining plastic parts, I would suggest ABS plastic and use the corresponding weld-on cement for ABS.

Chris,

Try Supacrylic or Plastic Magic from Delux Materials, I assume they have an outlet in the US.
Their adhesives are expensive but they work and when epoxy won't.
