I'm not a TB owner, but it sounds like one of the gearbox covers is
loose and this is letting the gears lift out of mesh in one direction.
Failing that, take the gearboxes apart again and make sure the gears
are properly seated.
Hopefully someone on rmrl will be able to offer more help.
