Dragonfly

My jeep finally crapped out on me so I was out reviving my truck today and found something I had forgotten about. It's a fishing lure that mimics a dragonfly. Now the reason I'm posting this here is because when you cast it, it will glide, and it does it well. That got me to thinking about the plausability of building an RC version. I know folks have build bug like models but how true to scale have they gotten? Here is an image of the lure, does it look like it might work? The CG might be a bear.

if you look at the indoor and micro forum, a guy managed to make a 225mg 2 channel plane, which is firmly in the large insect realm as far as reynold numbers are concerned. I think that taking the wings off a real dragonfly could lead to an even lighter weight. making it an ornitopther is still probably too ambitious

225 mg, My wife takes a 300mg Lyrica Tablet. That is tiny.
