View Full Version : Help! 2.4 install in a non friendly fuse

hi....i know there have been some threads on installing a 2.4 receiver in a non friendly fuse...i would like to install a futaba 7 channel 2.4 in my super ava.....have searched the forums and no luck...

can anyone point me in the right direction....links if possible

I have not done this myself, but I know at least one person in my local club solved this problem by making small holes in the fuse for the antennas to stick out of. Kind of looks like his plane has whiskers.

3 x JR 2.4 installs in c/f fuses, and all find.

I would suppose what was said by Brian is correct. Out the fuse.

thanks guys...that is the way that i have installed the receivers in my balsa/glass fuses.....i like the whisker look.......

Those are great pics and a super nice additional source of info. Yet, they all look to be JR/Horizon 2.4 unless I missed something.

Bob would like to know on Futaba, which I can only think would be similar, but do not know as I have zip experience with this brand.
