Well, I finally will have a use for my turbine waiver. Last Monday, I
wired my money off to Bergen RC to purchase a turbine Intrepid. Got a
nice bonus at work which hastened the deal and figured I've been
working hard enough to warrant a new "toy"

No clue when it'll arrive as we're waiting on Wren to deliver the
engine, but I'm hopeful the kit/engine will arrive before Christmas.

I'll definitely be bringing it to the IRCHA Jamboree in August of '09.

Too cool, Kevin! Congrats!

You'll "like" it. Power out the arse doesn't even begin to describe it.
:-D

Have a great Christmas. Happy New Year, and Fly Safe!

Well, it's still not here, but I did hear from Sara at Wren a couple
days ago. They're waiting on a couple parts before they'll ship my
engine to Bergen. Bergen should be ready to ship the airframe as soon
as the engine arrives. I'm hoping I'll get the goodies sometime in
the next week or two.
