Battery low alerter?

Is there anything out there that can be built or bought that when your battery(s) power is getting low like 20% it alerts you with a light on a receiver or something of the like?

I use this. http://www.webx.dk/rc/lipoly/low-volt-alarm.htm It can be modded to what ever voltage you need.
