I have a USB cable that connects my DX6i to my Vista PC. In game controllers in control panel, it shows a controller PPJoy Virtual Joystick, but in calibration I can move the sticks in circles and the computer does not recognize any input at all. Not sure what I'm missing - any ideas?
Thanks,
Dan

You don't need no PPJoy to use a true USB interface! What interface did you get? Is it listed in Device Manager in Human Interface Devices (HID) group?

I got a dynam USB simulator line that plugs straight into my Tx. Maybe I should uninstall ppjoy & smartpropo?
It is listed as a HID. Twice, actually, not sure why. HID-compliant game controller. I'm somewhat computer savvy as far as building and stuff, but I've never set up a game controller, so I'm totally in the dark here. No option to calibrate through there though, and it's not listed as a game controller in control panel.

If it's the same interface as sold by many different names like E-Sky, etc., it doesn't need PPJoy or SmartPropo. It should be listed in Control Panel/Game Controllers and double-clicking on it there should bring Properties window with Calibration tab.
You said that it's not listed among the Game Controllers. Either PPJoy/SmartPropo messed things up or the interface is simply defective...

Thanks. I'll uninstall ppjoy & smartpropo, since I shouldn't need either with this, and try again.
