almost done with my 1/10th scale TAF flatbottom, and I'd like to find a scale dummy motor to sit behind the capsule to finish off the correct look of the boat. I started to fab one, but if I could find somthing to purchase it would probably look better(supercharged v-8) anybody know anywhere these can be bought?

There is a 1/4 scale "invisible" engine, and several 1/6 scale models of
v-8 engines, by Revell Monogram if they aren't too big...
One of them is a supposed to be a 1/6 Scale Ford 427 SOHC Drag Engine. (http://www.tudayshobbymodels.com/prd_model_Ford_427_Drag_Engine_6)
You just need to find a reliable retailer.

If they are model kits,... Couldn't you reverse the valve heads, and put the
exhast ports over the top of the engine?

:p
