recently I started having issues with my swift. A couple of weeks ago, one of my links came off in flight. Luckily I managed to land without incident. I ordered new links and replaced them.
Last weekend, I lost a tooth on the main gear.
Yesterday, the bearing cover on the swash plate came off.

My question is, should I upgrade the head to a CNC version.

My style of flying has changed from figure 8's to now doing loops rolls and flips. I would not call it aggressive flying by any stretch of the imagination, but I am wondering if the plastic parts cannot handle the stress.

How many flights on the heli? I would go with CNC Swash, triple bearing upgrade, and CNC headblock. That should be a great combo for your flying style. The plastic parts are good but the CNC is better IMO.....Ron

The bearing cover came off the bearing. Can I somehow put it back so it will not fall out again, or do I need to purchase a new one. Everything else with the bearing is perfect.

that is not rust on the bearing in the picture. My camera just sucks: spending money on helis is more important.

Don't the missing screws keep that in place?

I took the screws out to see what was going on. No they do not cover that part. They just touch the end of the bearing to hold it in place

I would just upgrade to the CNC Swash and headblock. Not really expensive and it will fly better.

That is the bearing dust shield ; it is very thin sheet metal. You can probably bend out the outer edge in a couple places (very gently !! with point of screwdriver) and push it back into place in the bearing. It presses into the outer race.
