I just purchased a Graupner Pro2 Jet Drive(one more to come) for a boat I am working on. Jet drives are a totally new system for me but I'm looking for authentisity. Little did I realize that the main body of the thing is a two parter that needs to be asembled and then finished inside before final assembly. I was thinking of using Bondo inside to round out the seams where the two halves meet. Has anyone used these propulsion systems and what did you do during the assembly stage???

Pibber: Yes, any good quality filler will do the trick: just sand it thoroughly. I used the plastic filler from Gunze or Revell. Be careful not to glue in the shaft just yet, you will fix it after deciding the final position, it will be a lot easier.
Sailindude:
ESC: any decent quality 30A brushed ESC: http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=6468
Servo: standard servo
Rx: nothing special, just get a combo on 2,4GHz that will give you a servo with it...
Batteries: 2S Lipo, 2500 20C will be enough, even something like:
