Hacker A80-8?

Is there anyone who has tested this on 10S
Wondering if a 3-blade meizlik 21*12 would be too big...
A 22*12 2-blade should give about 100A+

I have used numerous 26 in two blades, amp draw is roughly 150. No problems as far as heat in an aerobatic airplane. Only at full power on vertical lines, so depending on your application the smaller 3 blade should work. Several others are running 12S and 24 in two blade props.

What is it in?

Thinking of this in a Krill Katana 28% on 10S... Have already a Sebart Katana 120 with 2 10S 5350 FP lite packs, and the I can use the packs as a 10S2P 10700mAh...:) That should give about 10min+ flight time..
Specs sheet says: 24*12 Meizlik on 10S ~145A
26*12 Meizlik on 10S ~176A

Then a 22*12 should give about ~100A on 10S giving about 4000W
And at approx.8 kg rtf weight, about 500w/kg..

Sounds this like a ok setup or could I go with a A60-18L on 10S?

Jim,

I would look at the A60 for that size plane. I have flown up to a 17 pound (7.7Kg if my conversion is correct) plane with no problems on an A60-18L (Quique Aircraft 86" Yak) on 10S. Would be a much lighter setup than the A80. Of course if you think you may go bigger later than go with the A80.

Just as I expexted..:) The A60 is cheaper too.. What setup did you run?

It was awhile back, but if I remeber correctly, I ran 10S Thunder Power V2 Extremes 5000 mah, Hacker/Jeti Spin 99 and either a 24x12 APCe and APCe 25x12.5. Performance was very good on the 24x12 and excellent on the 25x12.5. Many others on this forum have used similiar setups for under 30% size airplanes. So a reasonably lite 28% should not be a problem.

Did you run a 2p system~10000mAh? Could go for a 12S2P 6700mAh setup also, as I have 6S packs in my Angel 50...
