Re: download trouble.

I downloaded one of the boat downloads. Happy to have it, they seem
hard to find. I also downloaded the dxs file opening system. I have
both of them on my desktop but boat plan doesnt open . when clicking on
the boat plan, it asks what program do you want to open the plan. I
click the dsx file and it says the file is unsupported or not able to
open it. What good advice do you have. This is windows XP. Could I have
to remove virus protect from the dxs program?????? ok, over to you.

are you trying to use to open them? Doug

HI Doug. both files are on the desktop. The dxf file doesn't seem to
open up. When I click on the steamer ship files, it asks what file do
you want to open the steamer files. I click on the drawing reader file,
and it wants to just keep trying to reenter the reader file.

What program are you using to read the dxf files? It's hard to say what
the problem is without knowing what reader you're using. Doug

You will need a program that reads .dxf files! Nothing that comes with
windows will do it. You can do a google search for CAD reader programs. Lots
of free ones out there.
