I just want to warn others that I received a shipping invoice from Hobby Lobby today. I had three seperate orders during the Thanksgiving Sale. First off they were not combined like it said on the sale page. Second, the shipping for eight outrunner motor mounts (collet and "X" bracket) was $45.51 plus the $8.99 handling charge!!! The product is only $8 of the $62.50 bill. This stuff could have easily fit in a small box or even an envelope. I just ordered 3 seperate airplanes from ADC Hobby Store and Extreme Flight and the shipping on each one was less than $30. I think that HL may be recouping their sale prices by inflating the shipping charges. I guess I'll know when it gets here.

Luckily I was able to cancel the other orders. The gentleman on the phone said that I can refuse the shipment, or return it, but I think that I'll still be charged for the shipping either way. I'm just glad I caught it before I had three seperate shipments at $45 shipping each time.

My first and last Hobby Lobby order.

Hi Greg,
I hope our PM's cleared things up. You selected UPS shipping which our website states is expensive. The orders should have been combined into one package, but it didn't happen in all the shuffle. You will only be charged shipping one the first order so there is no need to cancel or refuse the other orders. Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Jason Cole

Thank you Jason, that really helps. I was just really shocked that it could cost that much to ship a 1lb package. Then when I noticed that wasn't the full order andI might be getting 2 more shipments with those kind of charges, I freaked out!

I see now that I chose the wrong shipping option during the mad panick to get my order paid for before the end of the hour sale. I really appreciate all of your help and time to look into this.

Thank you Jay for the PM as well. I order Hobby Lobby stuff through Great Hobbies here in Canada all of the time and it's good to know that there's great customer service backing it.

Thanks guys,
Greg
