Hi Everyone

I've just noticed something but can't recall if it ever was there before or if it's normal,

As soon as my heli spools down the last few seconds of it getting to a full stop there is vibration on the belt you can feel it, see the tail vibrate a little and see the belt phisically vibrating, this only happens on the last few seconds of spool down, anyone know if it's normal or what it could be? Like mentioned its not major vibration but it is there

Thanks

Does the rudder servo move when you see the vibration?

I have not noticed that with my T600. Perhaps your belt tension needs adjusting.

:)

Any vibration in a heli is going to be noticed most in the tail. What you're seeing could be a low-speed resonance due to something slightly out of balance, something wearing, or perhaps even the blades too loose in their grips which is allowing them to flop around at slow speed.

it's not really uncommon for belt drives as they unload during spool down.

The blades loose their grip on the air and the tension equalizes on the belt...sometimes you can hear the flapping of the belt...

usually a little tightening is all that is required....

Thanks for that i'll check the tailblades, yes i can also hear the flapping of the belt itself, but not too much, and also can i use or should i use a silicone based lube for the belt or rather leave it?
