Ok... about to bench test my E-flite Power 110 on 9S for my TF P-40E and my question is... will the stock 1/4 inch ply fire wall (that is good up to a .90 glow) able to handle the E-flite 110? It looks beefy, but don't have any experience with big electric motors hanging 3+ inches off the firewall...

Any suggestions?

You should be good to go with this firewall. Remember your not going to have the vibration of the glow engine. Make sure there is plenty of glue on the joints. Even if you wanted a little insurence take some triangular stock and put it in the corners. Heck it maybe there already.

Bolt it on and let us know how it flies

Thanks Jeff... It looks pretty sturdy, but I will put some fresh epoxy on the joints just in case.

should be fine, i used 1/4" to hang a hacker A150 off (with a few layers of cloth either side). we arnt dealing it vibrations or anything, just gyroscopic loads, it should be fine
