Finally got some new video uploaded. Bill Harden shot this video.

Trex 600E, FlightPower 6S 5000 ma batteries, HV-85, Neu 1907/1Y/H, 10 tooth pinion. HS is at 1430 and I get 10 minute flight times.

Thanks I just the 500 looks great in flight. :D
You might want to try out vimeo for your video . They don't compress it and ruin the quality of the original like YouTube does. Not sure how. But look at my A109 below. And it was filmed with a Casio 7.2 mp camera !

Man, that A109 looks good!

I've just created an account with vimeo, will upload a video shortly.

Thanks, Alan

That is with a standard camera. My sons takes HD wide screen, but he hasn't filmed me yet..

WOW look how much more detail and sharper it is !
Tell you camera man if he can stop using auto focus and lock it on long distance. It will stop searching for a focus location.. Huh Wren is only 229 miles from me ? Any tourist attractions in the area I could talk my wife into going to next summer ? I could accidentally mention some of the guys fly in that area and we could stop by and see them...;)

They just use a higher quality compression. It results in larger file sizes to store on their servers. Since they have fewer videos posted, this is probably fine for them. Vimeo is hitting a different audience - people who care about their videos looking good, rather than people who care about how many views they can get. Vimeo has less advertising too, so I'm not sure it's a sustainable model. If they were as popular as Youtube, they would need more advertising to support the cost of running the higher quality hardware. I usually post my videos to both sites.

I have noticed an increase in pop up ads IN the youtube videos, very annoying for sure.

I have tried to figure out how to get those to show up on my videos. I think it is giving a payout to the video poster - like Google Adsense.

BTW, these helis are beautiful. I really like the scale looks and scale flying.
