I have had this model sitting for about a year. Work has been hectic and I just didnt have anytime to get to it. But I worked on it a little at a time and finally finished it this morning. It has the following

Dualsky X-motor 6360CA-11
CC-80 HV ESC
22x12 prop
12s2p A-123
Servos are Hitec 5645's
JR X9303 and a AR-7000 receiver
5 Cell reciever pack

First flight was at a little over 1/2 throttle. I forgot to check the timing after I reprogrammed the ESC. When I went to 3/4 power it squeled real load. So I just throttled back and broght it around and landed.

I took out my laptop and tried high timing first but that didnt work so It was low timing that solved the problem. Put everything back together and taxied back out. I took off and it grooved real nice. I was a little nervous as I dont fly large scale very much. Mostly sailplanes. It rolled very nice. The balance was good as I only needed 1 click of up trim. The ailreons needed 2 clicks of right. I flew for 10 minutes total. I did 2 spins that were nice and flat. It takes a little longer to recover but it flew great. Landing was a piece of cake. The 22 inch prop is a good brake. The weight has to be at least 15 pounds. I was really surprised how well it flew.

59 amps draw at 2170 watts on the watt meter. I am charging the A-123's right now to see how much I used. The weather was great. Not a person at the field. We ate the turkey early in the day. My wife and 2 of the 3 kids went along. It was about 3pm so I only had 2 hours of light left when I left my house.

Overall I am impressed with the setup. More maybe this weekend.

My wife took some pics with her camera. It does a good job. Lots of in flight photos. And more of the batteries. The prop is big but I still have 2 inches of clearence with the tail up. Max efficeincy is 59 amps according to the manueal in the box for the motor so this is right on.

Great looking setup, You may be happier going with a 12s1p and having shorter flight times/quicker turnaround. The batts could certainly handle it and you would save close to 2 pounds of weight.

Ill be curious to see what Mah you used in your flights

Looks Great! I'll bet it's more than 15 lbs.

Ill see if I can find someone at the field that has a rpm gauge. The weather is now rain and cold... Well cold for here. I am a yankee so its not real bad

Nice looking plane, did you use the hardware that came with it?

No I replaced all the hardware with 4-40 stuff. The CMP kits have very cheezy hardware. All metal clevises and soldered joints. Piece of mind is a good thing
