Hi everybody I thought you would like to see my latest project.
I have been scratch building a Radio Controlled 1/4 scale wheel loader from mild steel.
It has taken over 1 year to get to this point and is not finished yet.
The Model is huge and weighs a massive 900kg.

The Model is Electric Hydraulic Powered to give the power to manover this beast about.

go check out www.gardentrucking.com i think thats it. it might be . org but its garden trucking. they got those for sale the excavator is 5 g's. but very cool. what psi are you running the hyd at.

ok link works. look in company store. those are much smaller than yours. yikes thats huge. looks very cool though. would like to see the hyds working.

that thing is very nice! impressive work!

are you sure that weighs 900kg? thats almost as much as a car!

Shoulda done what Lotus did with the Elise. They made the main chassis out of Aluminium and Epoxied it together at the seams. That way it saves weight and gives abit of give for a crash. Plus its easier to make. :)
