Hello:
Now, I´m desingning a canard model. But I want to select the best airfoil configuration, which airfoil do you recomend me for the canard and the wing?
Thanks for all.

I'd go for the same airfoil as the wing, but with a smaller thickness percentage. If you plan to have a cambered wing, having a symmetrical canard section might mean that in an inverted stall the wing may stall first, and this is usually bad. Essentially any profile will do, as long as the canard is the first to stall, either because it has a higher loading or a thinner profile

The reason a canard 'should' stall first is because it operates at higher Cl than the wing. As the canard has to operate at higher Cl that the wing then I'd guess that ideally it should also be slightly more cambered than the wing. I think that this is full size practice.
The best airfoils to use would depend entirely on the use that the model was to be put to, just like a conventional model.

I don't know whether you have already seen it, but there is a thread in Electric Plane Talk called Canard Forum: Show,Discuss, Learn (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=613556)
A group that are interested in Canards decided to try a pool all their information, worth having a look if you haven't already.

BINGO! Give the man a big ceeeeeegar....
Jesus, can you tell us more about what speed and style of flying this model will do and the size of the model?
