this is my tug freewinds doing a wheely (to do this i go fullastern & then strait into full ahead )== a 'wheely :D :rolleyes: regards ray

I saw a little Lindberg tug with a hot 400 motor- could actually maintain a "wheelie" across the pond!

Uhhuh... gives me ideas -> A 'sleeper'. Deep-V, surface piercing prop, brushless, watercooled, LiPo, tugboat. :eek:

hi guys the motors are robbe 'navys' 5;1 on 12volt the props are 97mm in kort nozzels regards ray

My old "Apache" ( same hull Ray) would do the same. Wheeelie fun to do digging holes in the water.

If it weren't for the "unscale" appearance of the water in the third photo of the first post, i would have trouble recognizing that tug as a model.

Ray - Are those the Robbe props and korts or something else. I was looking at the Robbe prop sets until I noticed they require the 6mm shaft and porpeller drive dog which drives up the price and somewhat modifys the "scale look" of the underwater gear.
Great tug! I agree that the last picture really makes you look twice. Running free with a nice bone in'er teeth! :cool:

hi tugboat andy they are the robbe 100mm nozzels but the shafts are 6mm from propshop & props are also from the prop shop 97mm regards ray

The duck is really worth seeing. The thread was by ''dirtysouth31'' dated July 16 2007 at 08:04. Two video's in thread. Ray you'll get a kick out of it.
