Keep the water OUTSIDE the boat... except for cooling.

2) Whats your best Rc Boats advice?.
Follow others... then, with experience, do your own thing.

3) What do you wish you had, but cannot find?.
More patience.... or a variable pitch propeller

What form of article would this be?...
From your blog, you seem to be something to do with Hobbytron, would this be some form of advertising?

Dont be too concerned with "how fast will it go", learn to drive it first.

2) Whats your best Rc Boats advice?.
Build what best suits you and your personality.

3) What do you wish you had, but cannot find?.
A job that required no work input but provides unlimited funds for building model boats. Oh, and a Dumas Donzi. :D

Im not from HobbyTron, the only reason hobbytron are on the site is because I get asked about tugs/pirate ships from newbies, so I look for them and post it on the site.

I also get asked what things to avoid, and advice on the best way to find information out about rc boats, thats why I asked the questions above, its good to get the opinions of people that have been in the hobby for years, if it helps the newbies out, then that can only be good :D .

I wrote a post that sort of 'clogged up' my computer with it's length. I decided that rather than 'inflict' that on people, I'd re-do it, make it shorter. This is it.

Do the thinking part before you start.

A couple of the above posts 'stole' my best advice. Read them again.

And maybe another one of those 'good advice' thingys is that there ain't no such thing as 'perfect' with present projects, only the next ones.
It's all a learning process, especially the mistakes. Enjoy the learning process!

Newbies wont want RTR's..
Newbies will be looking for information about kits, plans and construction articles to aid them in building and learning about model boats.

If you are trying to encourage 'seasoned' builders of model boats to contribute to your site, then they will be soon turned off of adding anything to your site by the sight of links to 'dubious sellers' of RTR's and also copyright infringement by your use of others work without acknowlegement or permission.

1) Time has a way of taking time. Something simpler to get you involved and on the water then work you way up as your skills and knowledge increase.

2) Have fun and share with others.

3) More time and more models.
