Hi,
Just to share with you guys some shorts which I had taken earlier. It has the most cost effective setup but fly very well. I get 4 minutes with Evo 25 2500mah (22.2v)
My setup consists of:-
Gaui 850kv motor with 11 tooth pinion.
Electron 80 amp esc
Century 520 stock wood blade
Futaba 3001 on cyclic
401/9254
With the above setup, mild 3d isn't a problem.

A mod here which I have done to reduce/eliminate vibration. I use a linkage rod to hold both boom brace togather.

Sadly to say that I got very poor part support locally and I have used up all my available spares.
Pleas correct me if I am wrong.....but I think my Swft 16 is the only Swift in my country which is still air worthy.
As for the tail, I have parts from Raptors 30 and Trex 600 and it really work well. :)

Larren,
Looks very good. Did the Mod solve the vibration problem? How is the tail working for you since its leading edge control?

You mode should work. I have seen it suggested elsewhere, basically the same thing you did. But it was actually available as a aftermarket item..

Thanks Robert.
The mod does help.
The tail is working fine as most of my helis tail blades are leading edge control.

Larren, I have the only Swift on my country, too. (I must order parts international) Good to know that I'm not alone :)

Merhaba, Gadget:) Turkey is a fascinating place- history that pre-dates the invention of dirt, friendly people, and great food. I've been there 10x or so since about 1995 and always enjoyed it. I just found a Turkish restaurant here on Okinawa where I get to practice my vast 4-word vocabulary and partake in some chicken-shish and Efes.
