Simulator for MacBook Pro

My buddy has a MacBook Pro with OS X. He would like to get a decent simulator. Are there any good heli sims out there that will run on a Mac without doing virtualization?

Heli-X (http://heli-x.net/download_e.shtml) is written in Java and there is a download for Windows, Mac, and Linux. The old version 0.9 was free and quite good.

It looks like they're coming out with a new version in the next few days with a lot of improvements, but to register for the full version will cost you about $50. It's still a lot cheaper than most sims out there but at this point I am going to wait for other reports to see if it is worth it over Clearview, for example.

You can still use the free version though, which I can assure you will be good enough for learning new maneuvers.
