IF you got the money and time to spend on it, why not? I have a 15 year old TRAXXAS TRX-1 that as of last week put in the TRAXXAS VELINEON SYSTEM, and its like I got a NEW CAR. IF and when I kill the car, since no parts are available for it now, I can still use the brushless system in something else. SO IF YOU GOT IT. GO FOR IT
