I just saw an article in one of the modeling magazines about how to do a roller coaster.
Very informative, but in practice I have a problem with the very first step. :(
Your supposed to enter flat and level with throttle at 1/3rd, and then pull up hard which will make the plane 1/2 loop, but also almost stop and go backwards.
Sounds simple, but in practice, if I'm going fast enough to make the 1/2 loop, I don't go backwards. If I go just a tiny bit slower, it won't make the 1/2 loop, just does a stall/fall.
Whats the trick here?
I've seen this same technigue in video's as a fancy entry to hover, and I could'nt figure it out then either.
