Hello All, Just wondering what the best option(s) for charging batteries in the stock Tx that comes with the Aquacraft Miss Vegas or SuperVee 27.

Option 1)
Hobbico Tx/Rx Charge Leads No 9VAP Futaba J with a Duratrax IntelliPeak ICE charger

I have decided to experiment using my Futaba 9 CAP wall (9.6V) charger with some Energizer rechargeable 2500 Mah NiMHs.

Looks like the 7 CAP charger works OK...neither the batteries or the TX generated any excess heat while charging. The energizer Nimhs charged to 1.3V per cell. Unfortunately, I am not ready to test the longevity of the batteries as I am not ready to maiden the Miss Vegas or the SuperVee. I suppose that I could just leave the TX on for a few hours and then measure the voltage.

I suspect that the particular Batteries I have won't last too long as they have been well used in home devices for a few years now. I did pick up some cheap NiCads from Harbor Freight...they were only $2.99 for a 12 pack.
