Actually that's pretty cool. Maybe we could try it with DAW EPP gliders.

I think a small foamie glider and a Multiplex Cargo would be a good match. :) ...but then again, what about this guy and his scratch EPP Waco? :D

I'd be happy just to be able to snag the line. Towing from the bottom doesn't work, as low tows are diffcult to manage with models. but if you could fly the tug inverted with the tow hook on top as usual, then push up roll out... hope the glider flies before it digs it's nose in the ground, you could do it.

I was playing my latest computer game (Medal of Honor :Breakthrough), and came across a short video of this. They have video clips between levels with some pretty vivid scenes. The clip plays after you beat the first level, so you'll have to kill some Krauts to get to it. :D

Has anybody read the book, "Glidermen of Neptune?"

There were 6000 glider pilots trained by the US military during WWII.
