Hey Don,

I was told about your motors by thomas nelson, we usually fly together. He recomended the 5400kv extreme. I was woundering if this 64mm fan unit would work with this motor?
Link bellow.

Thanks for your time.

John

The 5400 is too high a KV for this fan. I have this fan just need to test it.

Thanks don, my other option is an alfa 5 blade fan setup. I just don't know if i can get it as a 64mm?

I tested the 7 blade 64mm Haoye fan with the Wicked 4000 motor on 3S. I stopped when the amps got to 50! This fan is a power hog!

What plane you putting it in? The 5400 is really meant for the 5 blade alfa fan on 3S or smaller fans.

Hey John; Don

Just to confirm ... I love the Wicked Extreme with the Alpha 5-blade fan on 3S! Cool sound and good thrust/speed ratio. The throttle response on Don's Pentium ESC with this combo is better than average too.

No strings - just a satisfied customer.

Glad you like the motor :)

Here is a quick Pentium ESC tip most peopl overlook.

If you put the throttle to full up then plug in the lipo, let the ESC beep two times (if think it is two) then quickly go full down and let it beep again then it will arm itself. That will program your upper and lower throttle points so full up is 100% throttle instead of lower down being full throttle.

Don,

I just ordered the Wicked extreme 5400 from you. I checked today on the motor specs and at the bottom of the page it says out of stock. Will this motor that i ordered be back-ordered?

Thanks,

John

Don,

I ordered the Wicked extreme 4800 from you tuesday evening. I checked today on the status page of your website and it still says processing? Would there be any chance it was shipped yet?

Thanks,

Kurt

I got your order Tuesday night and normally I would have packed it the next day after I get home from work then ship out on my wat to work (which would have been today) but I ran out of printer ink last night so I could not print all my shipping labels. My wife likes to print out these Gilmore Girls internet stories and it eats my black ink up fast! But I am back in business so it will be in the mail in the morning. Sorry for the delay.

Don, do you have to do this everytime you power up the plane or just once?

You should only have to do that one time.
