I'm working on a large scale body for the X-Cell gasser which will
require more power from the stock (circa-1996) G-23 engine. What are my
options for getting more power out of this engine?
Thanks

Where is there info on this animal? Horizon has nothing on it.
If this is the car engine (I can't remember the numbers), it won't fit into
an X-Cell.

A fast way to get power from the G23 is to go with a high performance head
from Blois. I don't have the link any longer, but you could just serach it
out with Google or equiv.
The catch is that you need to re-gear the heli to let the engine work at
higher RPM to use the power.

We have big bore carbs and real velocity stacks that work with the G23 and G26. We can also retime the ports and bump the compression on the G23. The G26 is pretty much maxed out from the factory.

Doesn't appear to be a heli engine . . .

Is there an engine stockist in the UK that even knows what a Zenoah helicopter
engine really is?
No-one I've ever spoken to has got a clue. Even Komatsu-Zenoah haven't heard of
the G22 or G23!!!!
Any telephone numbers of reliable stockists would be appreciated (don't bother
mentioning King Cobra, I wouldn't deal with them again if they were the last
stockist on earth).

You could always talk to Toni Clark. He's based in Germany, but an
Englishman no less.
