Call me a wet towel, but I wonder what it costs to insure this monster?

After 55 pounds (and a maximum of 90 pounds) the AMA requires an Experimental Aircraft waiver which includes an inspection of certain items that pretty much have had to be included in the design and building of such a large model. There is also a flight demonstration required before an AMA inspector.

Yikes!

So much for just enlarging a set of plans, eh?
