This year the fifth annual Pumpkin Regatta was held
in Tualatin, Oregon. This was my second time attending, and
I was joined by the TBW crew, Toesup, and Mrs Toes.

The Smallest pumpkin in the water was 700 Lbs, and the
larges weighed in at around 1100 Lbs. The Autumn weather
was nothing short of gorgeous, and we and the Regatta participants
all had a great time.

Here's the TBW crew aboard Scoot and Mustang Sally running off
with a 900 Lb gourd.

That looks like it was a hoot---. Thanks for the inspiration, Umi---. :)

We have lots of pumpkins here, and not a lot of great ideas lately---. :o

Maybe we can change that? ;)

Why makes a 900 pound pumpkin float, I wonder?

The inflated price of the seeds...
One seed can sell for as much as
$300....

A few of my shots from yesterday..

Some very interesting pushing to be had with these Pumkins... Once you get them moving, they are difficult to stop... and they can spin in any direction once you start the push..:censored::censored::censored:
