Full Scale Hovercraft

Hi all. Does any one out their have experience with full scale hovercrafts. I am thinking of building a single seater one and would like to know if anyone had any tips.

I've only built the leaf blower kind, but they have all the parts you would need on hovercraft.com

I had a UH-12T2 I helped a buddy build and ended up getting from him. After a few years I scrapped it since he didn't properly waterproof the wood.

I've got plans for he Universal UH-10, which is an easy to build craft and several others including the UH-15P.

Check out Universal Hovercraft's 1 and 2 person hovercraft (http://www.hovercraft.com/content/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=33). The plans are not that expensive and can be scaled down to a model if desired, which is what I plan on doing in the future with all the plans I have.
