has anyone ever done this yet? i am wondering because that is all that i will fly is electric, and this is becoming popular at the fields. :D

Yes its been done by several but the one I know about is the Neu 2230 6.7 gearbox and 18 to 20s lipos but still waiting for Castle to finish the controller. Hacker and plettenburg also make motors for this as well.

I noticed that Bernd Beschorner
flew his Raven XXL (120 inch) again at the Arizona Shootout this year.

- Plettenberg Predator 37/6 motor
- Schulze Future 55-160 ESC
- FlightPower 14s1p 4900 batteries (I think 2P for total of 6 batteries)

Depending on the wight, but i think a Predator 30 for 38% will be enough.
