Ive been getting quite a few emails asking about 500-600 size fuselages. Right now the biggest I have made has been for the ECO 8. Ive been chewing on making something a little bigger such as 500-600 sizes for electric helis only. Mabey a little help from the heli community will get the ball rolling. Before I can make something this size, I will need a heli this size or even a mock up. If anyone would like to contribute to the cause feel free to contact me. Whats more popular, 500 size or 600 size ? Even a barebone would go a long way.

How about a really nice solid Hughes 500 D for the Swift 16 ?
As nobody out there makes a accurate one that I have found....
Then I would have a reason to strip my ECO 8 down and sell all the extra parts and buy another Swift 16 ! Unless somebody wanted to buy my Jet Ranger as it now is...

Hmm, thats a tuff one since the 500's are pretty small like the ECO8.
Swift is more of a 550, closer to the T600 really.
A cheaper alt to the pricey FG fuses/kits would be nice though.
Hmm, shoot me a PM or email :D

I would support a 550/600 sized fuselage, something for all the Raptor and TRex guys out there. Personally I would want to see something different from all the Bell 222's and Airwolfs. Maybe a PET-G Apache? Or even better, a BLACKHAWK!!! The U.S. Army just started using EC-145's in medevac and support roles, why not one of those? I think the decision you will have to take is in how scale you are willing to go (after what size of course!)

I think a blackhawk would be cool.

If I was to get into the bigger Fuselages, yes they would more than likely be cheaper than FG and I would be able to add more detail. I dont think I would start with a blackhawk, Mabey something a bit easier. Depending on the thickness of the material, some frame work may be needed. I would at least like try to do one body just to see how it would come out. The endeavor may require me to do some retooling. Id probaby have to go with bigger vac tables and frames. Thicker material which I think can obtain at a reasonable rate. Im keeping my eye out for a Esmart, I think they are 600 size and pretty standard when it comes to measurements when compared to other similar size helis.

Ed - How about a Hughes 300c? Simple enough and would likely fit within your current vacuum tables so you could get a low cost low risk look see on material selection and the like. Make me a good offer and I'll buy one of your prototypes and strap it on a T-Rex 600e. ;)

Here's a video of a Trex600 with a Funkey Airwolf fuselage in a Military paint scheme. Stock set up on 6s Thunder Power V2 5000.

You might try MIKE50 servo slower on the retracts...
Besides that beautiful !

How about a Schweizer 330? Or one of the UAV's that the Navy has that is based on the 330?

I'd like to see the classic beauty of a Bell HUEY for a 600 class heli. Also a Robinson R-44 would be a lot of fun and definitively different :)

I coould go for the Huey too. Known worldwide and so few flying models.
Davey has a real nice one I have seen fly a few times. He flys it so slow and scale like.
