I am getting into motor winding and I was just wondering is this kind of wire coated or something?
I have seen some copper wire of different gauges at Michael's,will this work?
All help in this would be greatly appreciated.
specificly im looking for:.27mm, which converts to 29-30 gauge.
Has anyone rewound one of these?:

Im looking to try recreate the stock performance with a bit more efficiency.
Thanks for looking

Yes the wire has to be coated or all the windings will short out.

You'll generally get better answers to this kind of question in the Electric Motor Design and Construction forum http://www.rcgroups.com/electric-motor-design-and-construction-361/
