Mate I think you have scared most of the people away in putting
drown(drone), military and 12 foot boat in the same sentence.
Sounds like a pretty big engine to be putting in an RC boat, maybe if
you are able to give the weight of the engine, CC's and intended use
ie: superfast or something like a pusher or puller tug.

All in all though, most people on here just read, there aren't a lot of
avid posters as such.

I will probably get shot for this but you might go ok on another forum,
something like RCGroups, there is actually a thread there about huge rc
scale.

hello fellow boaters after getting a reply deestingray I am posting the
rest of the story, heres what I know and its not much. the engine is
about 15 lbs its a 2 cycle engine made by power bee for the us military
and they were attached to target DRONES. any way I don't know the CC's
on it as they are not listed on the data plate its about 8 inches wide
10 inches long and 9 inches high i like building things and i know i can
build a hull but plans would make it faster also is this even possible?
is there a rudder that will turn a boat this big and a servo to turn
the rudder ? and then the drive shaft stuffing tube and prop please
help I think I'm gonna need it.

Mr. Des., is correct. Another forum would be Intl. Waters.com for such
a size of boat and etc.----- I'm not hijacking the posting but some
good info for all. Now on OSE site in their forum and posting saying
Congrats. Darin, is info on adding weight to boats by Fluid ( Jay
Turner ) ( Guru ), must read! I think is important or i wouldn't
suggest it!
