As a massive fan of both the colour scheams and overall products produced by Sebart it comes as a massive ( excuse the pun ) excitment that a new giant scale sebart sukhoi is on the way......

I can just see that up at the local park. I have the 1.20 Katana in a box in the shed. Its next on the production line. Looks fantastic with the colour scheme and the presence. Of course after a few flights it won't look so good.

How`s things david ? still flying at sunset soarers club ? Still got your katana 50 ? My Sebart 50 went in due to the canopy coming off and it became totally uncontrollable ! Real shame as was a great plane. but, it will fly again soon.....
Have put an order in for this 2.6 ! This one will not be flown at the park..... ;-) Club field only ! Cant wait !

Hi!
Are you going electric or gas? Guessing electric since you posted in this forum. And what's the price of this plane? Could not find it on the sebart site.
Thanks!

Well Bonedoc - after watching your videos and build logs i am up for the challange... Hows the family and kids ? Lucky i have an understanding wife ( and camera woman ) like you too !
So what would you go for in terms of set up ? Thinking 50cc equates to 10,000 Mah ( 10s 2x5000) ?? I know it comes down to MTAW that we are waiting for but lets look at similar set ups... !

my current 100cc E conversion (in my picture<<<<) has a Hacker A150-8, Spin 220, FlightPower Evo25 4900 6s x4, so 12s2p 44.4v 9800mAh. and it goes like this: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=eskADA43qJM
big is is fun, but VERY expensive, but there arnt many of them about so you get a cool unique factor. this sebby is a 100cc gas engine model, not E specific, but they aren't hard to convert

I think this is an e-specific plane according to Seba. Had an e-mail from him but english is not his first language so hard to be 100% sure but the prototype has a hacker in it...

Sorry this isnt correct, its a Gasser. It will be very easy to covert to E, but the prototype has a Minitor 100 engine in it. If i get one it will have an A150 hacker in it :)

Beautiful aircraft. Can you tell us about that aerial coming out of the fuselage aft of the cockpit? I don't think I have ever seen a rigid antenna like that before.

my guess its just a whip antenna, quite normal used a lot on jets

Great stuff guys ! Lets get this post going for the GS Sebart ! My intention is to build the 2.6m with a Hacker and as a massive Sebart fan, that why i posted this thred to learn all i can about epowering GS Sebarts !! So far i have built two and they are BY FAR my choice in my hanger..... but, living down under means we have to ( mostly wait ) longer to collect out new aircraft !
