Using R/C Tx to run Windows flight sim.

If I were to get a simple Futaba to USB cable for my 9C. Would I be able to properly control Windows Flight Sim 2004?
I reaaaly hate using a game controller.
I also fly AFPD with my transmitter through the proprietary AFPD dongle, but this interface won't work with other flight sim programs.

See my comments in this thread. I can't say specifically if it would work for your 9C, but I'd think it probably would.
