esc wire getting hot

hi need help my ansmann v/r 12t esc wire getting realy hot. it runs a 13t stock 2
motor and a 7.2 battrey motor stays cool so dose the battrey. any thourghts

If your wires and wires only are getting hot, usualy means bad connection or wiring, make sure all soder connection are good and like in the previous reply, IF YOUR USING TAMIYA style connector, you should change to DEANS or something similar......
