you will never get a single answer from this question....

in other words, jumping what? what do you want to achieve?

my single answer: built it to your needs.

any scale with the best possible set-up will do fine....and the most important thing, whos driving? :D

1/8th for multi use, ie: little bit of on road little bit of jumps/off road use.

1/10th for on road racing not so much for off road though

Anyways Good Luck - you can always ask around your local model shops for what they think would be best for you.

Hope this helps

they use 1/10 as off road too. Look at the Stampede.

If your looking for fast electric truck then you should look into TRAXXAS RUSTLER VXL, its a 2wd stadium truck with brushless motor fwd, brk & rev. The ESC as 3 modes, sport, racing & training, and since your new then I suggest the training mode 50%FWD, 100%BRK & 50%REV. Then when your comfortable with it you can change gears, get good lipo batt. AND GET A SPEEDING TICKET cause you were going 70mph in your street...joking about the ticket..

If the Stampede is a 1/10 scale, I would think the E-Maxx would be a 1/8. It's quite a bit larger than the Pede isn't it?

Traxxas just likes to say its a 1/10. But, I don't think they have the best measuring tools. They seem to have different ideas on what a 1/10th scale is than everyone else

I HIGHLY suggest the Traxxas E-revo! Revo suspension is the best out there. IT NOW COMES BRUSHLESS WITH A MAMBA MAX SYSTEM! Look at this page! 50mph on a 6cell nimh, BLAZING fast on a 3s lipo! http://www.traxxas.com/products/electric/erevo5608/trx_erevo5608.htm
Almost better than the nitro revo!
AND IT COMES WITH 2.4 Radio!!
