Just a matter of elevating a motor mount and placing some
rudders in behind the fan. A box for the battery and receiver
and you should be good to go.

If you want to bolt it on, put a backer plate on the bottom of the board, and
then run the bolts up through a top plate, and then cement your motor mounting
pylon on top of the top plate. and hang the rudder off of the back side of the pylon.
YOu can use model airplane hinges to mount the rudder/s.
You could also just use epoxy to cement a top plate on to the board for mounting.

Nice quickie build.
Laquer and enamel paints will melt the foarm.
So long as you use acrylic, or latex paint, .... paint it any color you want.
