Hi there Scale Glider fans,
Anybody know where I can download free scale plans of a Salto
Even a good 3 view with dimensions would help.
I am keen to scratch build a really big one early 2009. :p
I have lots of nice model photos of Salto,s up to 7mtrs in size (half scale)
But am aiming for something around 5/6 Mtrs .
Any help would be appreciated. ;)

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the info , I will do a build thread next year when I start
the Salto, at this stage it,s just about research and collecting pictures and a three view. :D

Here's some pics of a 3D model that I made from the above 3-view in Google SketchUp a while ago. I'd love to have an RC model of the Salto -- it's the glider that I got my silver badge with in 1977. The finished image depicts that flight, using a screen capture from Google Earth.

The Salto is my favorite of all the gliders that I've flown. :D
