Hey guys,
I have the revell 1/72 Type VIIC "wolfpack" U boot. I am have a real problem visualizing how to hook up the twin rudders to one servo. If you have comments on this please let me know, and PICTURES would be amazing!!! Like to see some pictures of the actual guts and also where the shafts and rudders penetrate the hull!!

Hey hoaRC that thing is awesome!!!!
But guys another beginner question. what do i use to fix the stuffing tubes to the hull at the penetration point?? I tryed silicone but it's way too flexible even when cured, and it comes off plastic way to easy just peels off!! let me know what u guys did!

Epoxy or JB weld, or thick CA glue are better adhesives.

DAP Kitchen and Bath Silicone would work, but epoxy or JB Weld is better. DAP Kitchen and Bath Silicone dries up tough and rigid, but still a little bendy so that you can scrape it off if you want, but it won't scrape off by itself.

You want as strong a joint as possible. I use 30min epoxy and shore it up with some basswood or styrene. The 30min gives me time to make sure everything is straight and level. My rudders/servo setup on the Bismarck is the same as CG Bobs example and it turns very well.(Isnt that right Norway2112 :D ) PS If you have a large area you want to fill, just add some micro ballons.

do you power up the motor to check alignment while the epoxy is drying up?

No, The rudders should not be in place while glue is drying.

Sorry Strickland, probably shouldnt have confused the issue. Micro balloons are tiny balloons that when mixed with epoxy make a filler. This allows you to use less epoxy. I usually use this around stuffing tubes.
