A friend of mine, who is not a member here, is looking for a good antenna diagram for 900 MHz.

Is there anyone who can point him in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

What style and what impedance? Pretty much any antenna design on the web works with any frequency when you plug the correct number into the formula. But first you need to decide on the design (dipole, 5/8 whip with ground plane, YAGI, etc.) then just plug that word into google and you should find an online tool to help you design it.

Hello,
The antenna that is required is omnidirectional. The frequency is 900 MHz.
I have build two omni antennas and a yagi yesterday (http://273k.net/gsm/designing-and-building-a-gsm-antenna/monopole/) and (http://273k.net/gsm/designing-and-building-a-gsm-antenna/yagi/).
They all work, but I would like more different solutions to select the best one.
The impedance is 50 ohm.

Regards! :)

Go to your local library & see if they have the ARRL Antenna Handbook on their shelves. Has all the antennas & design info you'll need.

He ended up with this antenna: http://273k.net/gsm/designing-and-building-a-gsm-antenna/monopole/
