Icare's (Gerasis)5.2 meter Nimbus 4D

I just received my new molded 5.2 meter Nimbus 4D from Icare sailplanes in Canada. What a beauty! My hat is off to Etienne Dorig for offering such a fine quality scale sailplane for such a reasonable price!!!(under $1000.00 incl shipping) We will be entering this glider in this year's Montague Cross Country Challenge held in Northern California every June. I believe it will be th only scale model to compete in this event

Hallo Randy

As far as I know, Gerasis only makes a Nimbus 4 not the 4D, that comes from HF Model. I had the 4 from Gerasis and it flies very well. NB!! Check the incidence, mine was about 3.5°. I took it down to just under 1.5° and the CG was then just behind the centre of the wing joiner. Here is a link to some pictures of my Nimbus to inspire you to build quicker.
