Hi,
I'm looking for a very durable, lightweight R/E glider to learn with. The Easy Glider seems perfect, but it's rudder/elevator/aileron. I saw something that said the Easy Glider Pro can be flown as a R/E only, so can the original Easy Glider be set up that way as well? I'll probably be using a hi-start for launching.
Thanks.

There is a new glider from Horizon that might fit the bill.

I don't know if Horizon is going to make a non motor version of this, but if you don't yet have a high start this could well fit the bill. Probably a great way to learn.

It's no problem to fly the Easy Glider as R/E only; in fact, it's shares the same wings and tail parts as the newer Easy Pro.

Great! Thanks to both of you.
So to use the Easy Glider as a R/E only, I would just tape the ailerons so they wouldn't move?

Yah just tape them in place and you have a RE ship.

If you're building it new, don't cut out the ailerons. Part of the build process is to "Cut the ailerons so that they move." I'd just omit this part. You can still install your servo extensions and your aileron servos in case you might want to use the ailerons later. Just don't cut the ailerons or install push rods and control horns. Easy....
