I was also asked about how the install on systems works.

oem is one serial per motherboard. when you actavate it it sends out info about the computer to Microsoft. You can change anything but the motherborard.


retal is transferable. Meaning i can install on one pc and then uninstall and reinstall it on a totaly diff. pc without the need to buy another serial number from Microsoft.
