MiniFan 480 with a gas engine?

Hi guys.
Do you know a good gas engine that would work OK in a Wemotec MiniFan 480? Did you try to fit a 1/2 engine in it? Would be possible?
Any opinions would be very appreciated. Thanks.

Not to divert to another site, but there is a long thread going on at RCuniverse on this topic in the 1/2A forum. People have used the Wattage, kyosho and midi fan I believe, but with mixed results. The Kress 1/2A fan has worked ok for some and I here EJF bought them out. The only really decent 1/2A fan seems to be the new Kamdax unit.

An IC engine cant support the rpm needed to give reasonable poweroutput. The Minifan need 30k rpm to start delivering, 40k rpm to scream.
